Maya is spending the summer at her grandparents’ countryside home. Wanting the glittering Barbie Dreamhouse seen on TV, she receives a knock-off called The House of Barby (La casa di Barbara)
Poster
After the movie was shot i was asked to produce the main poster for te movie and i had a brief that was to keep the main character . I tried different styles of lettering but in the end i decided myself to do it, wanting to bring this young written lettering and typo into the poster.
I also had another ideia wich was to bring the chicken wich is a breaking point in the history.
After a few adjustments and a bunch of different versions i came up with these 2 posters wich were chosen to represent the movie.
Prop Design
During the movie the main character recieves a toy from the house of barbi, and i had to recreate the hole packaging. Wasnt very hard since was based on the real Brabi we all know.
